The Raymond Basin Management Board serves as Watermaster for the Raymond Basin. The Board oversees implementation of the adjudication provisions of the Raymond Judgment and approves plans for storage of local and imported water in the Basin. It also coordinates water quality sampling and monitoring, and works closely with regulatory agencies to prevent contamination.

The Raymond Basin, which underlies most of the city of Pasadena and some adjacent communities, was the first groundwater basin in California to be adjudicated. It covers an area of approximately 40 square miles, and is estimated to be capable of storing as much as 1.5 million acre-feet of water.
